In a mixing bowl, combine honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, olive oil, black pepper, and salt. Whisk until well blended.
Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
Pat the salmon fillets dry with a paper towel and place them in the mixing bowl with the honey garlic mixture. Use a basting brush to coat both sides of the salmon evenly.
Place the salmon fillets skin-side down in the air fryer basket, ensuring they are not overcrowded.
Cook the salmon for 7 minutes at 400°F (200°C).
After 7 minutes, carefully flip the salmon fillets and cook for an additional 5 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.
Once cooked, remove the salmon from the air fryer and let it rest for a couple of minutes.
If desired, sprinkle sesame seeds and chopped green onions on top for garnish before serving.
