Ingredients
  

  • 4 fillets salmon fillets Approximately 6 ounces each.
  • 4 tablespoons honey
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic Minced.
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon sesame seeds Optional, for garnish.
  • chopped green onions Optional, for garnish.

Instructions
 

  • In a mixing bowl, combine honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, olive oil, black pepper, and salt. Whisk until well blended.
  • Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
  • Pat the salmon fillets dry with a paper towel and place them in the mixing bowl with the honey garlic mixture. Use a basting brush to coat both sides of the salmon evenly.
  • Place the salmon fillets skin-side down in the air fryer basket, ensuring they are not overcrowded.
  • Cook the salmon for 7 minutes at 400°F (200°C).
  • After 7 minutes, carefully flip the salmon fillets and cook for an additional 5 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.
  • Once cooked, remove the salmon from the air fryer and let it rest for a couple of minutes.
  • If desired, sprinkle sesame seeds and chopped green onions on top for garnish before serving.

Notes

For a spicier kick, consider adding some crushed red pepper flakes to the honey garlic mixture.
This dish is great served with steamed vegetables or over a bed of rice or quinoa for a complete meal.
The cooking time may vary based on the thickness of the salmon fillets, so adjust accordingly.
