1 frying pan
- 4 cups fresh broccoli florets about 1 large head of broccoli
- 1 cup cooked bacon, crumbled about 6 strips
- ½ cup raisins
- ½ cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- ½ cup red onion, finely chopped
- ¾ cup mayonnaise

Cook the bacon in a frying pan over medium heat until crispy. Remove from the pan, let it cool, and crumble it into small pieces.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the broccoli florets, crumbled bacon, raisins, shredded cheddar cheese, and finely chopped red onion. Mix well to combine the ingredients.
In a small mixing bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, sugar, salt, and pepper until smooth and well combined.
Pour the dressing over the broccoli mixture and toss until all the ingredients are evenly coated.
Refrigerate the salad for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld together. This step is optional but recommended.
Serve chilled and enjoy!
Feel free to add nuts like sunflower seeds or chopped walnuts for extra crunch. You can substitute Greek yogurt for mayonnaise for a lighter version of the dressing. This salad can be made a day in advance for more enhanced flavors.
