Ingredients
  

  • 4 pieces chicken thighs (bone-in, skin-on) About 1.5 lbs.
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • ¼ cup soy sauce
  • ¼ cup minced garlic About 8-10 cloves.
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley For garnish.

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a mixing bowl, whisk together the brown sugar, soy sauce, minced garlic, olive oil, black pepper, salt, and paprika until well combined.
  • Place the chicken thighs in the baking dish, skin side up, and pour the garlic brown sugar mixture over them, making sure they are well coated.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for about 30-35 minutes, or until the internal temperature of the chicken reaches 165°F (75°C) and the skin is nicely caramelized.
  • Once cooked, remove the chicken from the oven and let it rest for 5 minutes before serving.
  • Garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

Serve this dish with steamed vegetables or a fresh salad to balance the sweetness of the chicken.
If you prefer a spicier flavor, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the marinade.
