Ingredients
  

  • 6 cups mixed greens Such as arugula, spinach, and romaine.
  • 1 cup fresh blackberries
  • 8 slices bacon Cooked and crumbled.
  • 1 cup blue cheese Crumble before adding to the salad.
  • ½ cup walnuts Toasted.
  • ¼ cup red onion Thinly sliced.
  • ¼ cup balsamic vinaigrette
  • to taste salt
  • to taste pepper

Instructions
 

  • Cook the bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy, about 10 minutes. Place the cooked bacon on a paper towel to drain excess grease, then crumble it into small pieces.
  • In a large salad bowl, combine the mixed greens, fresh blackberries, crumbled bacon, blue cheese, walnuts, and red onion.
  • Drizzle the balsamic vinaigrette over the salad and use a whisk to mix it well before pouring it over the salad for even coating.
  • Gently toss the salad to combine all ingredients, being careful not to crush the blackberries.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve immediately.

Notes

You can customize this salad by adding grilled chicken or turkey for extra protein.
If you prefer a lighter dressing, you can substitute balsamic vinaigrette with a simple lemon vinaigrette.
To toast walnuts, simply place them in a dry skillet over medium heat for about 5 minutes, stirring frequently until fragrant.
