- 2 cups cooked chicken breast, shredded About 10 oz.
- 4 whole wheat tortillas 8-inch size.
- 2 cups romaine lettuce, chopped
- ½ cup Caesar dressing
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- ¼ teaspoon garlic powder Optional.
- to taste freshly squeezed lemon juice Optional, for added flavor.
In a mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, Caesar dressing, grated Parmesan cheese, black pepper, and garlic powder. Mix well to coat the chicken evenly.
Heat a griddle or skillet over medium heat.
Lay the tortillas flat on a clean surface. In the center of each tortilla, place an equal portion of the chicken mixture, followed by chopped romaine lettuce.
If desired, squeeze a bit of fresh lemon juice over the filling for extra flavor.
Fold the sides of the tortilla inward, then roll from the bottom up to enclose the filling. Make sure to wrap tightly to prevent spillage.
Place the wrapped tortillas seam-side down on the heated griddle or skillet. Cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side or until they are golden brown and the tortillas are warmed through.
Remove from the heat and let cool for a minute before slicing in half.
You can substitute grilled chicken for a smoky flavor or use rotisserie chicken for convenience. Feel free to add other ingredients like tomatoes, avocado, or croutons to enhance the wraps. These wraps can be prepped ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator for a quick meal option. Just wrap them in plastic wrap or foil to keep them fresh.
