Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a mixing bowl, separate the egg whites from the yolks. Ensure no yolk is mixed with the whites.
In a separate bowl, blend the egg yolks with the cream cheese until smooth.
Add in the baking powder and a pinch of salt to the egg yolk mixture. Mix well to combine.
In another bowl, beat the egg whites using an electric mixer or whisk until stiff peaks form, about 3-5 minutes.
Gently fold the egg white mixture into the egg yolk mixture using a spatula, being careful not to deflate the egg whites.
If desired, add any optional herbs or spices to the batter and mix gently.
Drop spoonfuls of the mixture onto the prepared baking sheet, forming about 6 rounds.
Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until the tops are golden and set.
Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.
