Ingredients
  

  • 1.5 pounds ground beef (80% lean)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 4 slices cheddar cheese
  • 8 strips bacon Cook until crispy.
  • 4 buns burger buns Toast until golden brown.
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • ¼ cup ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons mustard
  • ½ cup pickles, sliced
  • 1 cup lettuce, shredded
  • 1 slice tomato Sliced.

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your grill or stovetop skillet over medium-high heat.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix gently until just combined; avoid overmixing.
  • Divide the mixture into four equal parts and form into patties. Make a slight indentation in the center of each patty to prevent puffing during cooking.
  • Place bacon strips on the grill or skillet. Cook until crispy, then remove and drain on paper towels.
  • Cook the patties on the grill or skillet for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium doneness. Use a meat thermometer to check for an internal temperature of 160°F (71°C).
  • In the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty and close the lid to melt the cheese.
  • Toast the burger buns on the grill or skillet until golden brown.
  • Assemble the burgers: Spread mayonnaise on the bottom bun, followed by lettuce, the juicy patty with melted cheese, bacon, tomato slice, and pickles. Top with mustard and ketchup, then cover with the top bun.
  • Serve immediately and enjoy your flavorful Crack Burgers!

Notes

Feel free to customize your Crack Burgers with your favorite toppings, such as avocado or jalapeños.
For grill enthusiasts, wood chips can be added to enhance the smokey flavor.
If you don’t have bacon, you can skip it or use another type of meat such as turkey bacon.
