Ingredients
  

  • 4 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts About 1.5 lbs.
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • to taste salt and pepper
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped For garnish.

Instructions
 

  • Season the chicken breasts on both sides with salt and pepper.
  • In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the chicken breasts and cook for 6-7 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.
  • Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a simmer, scraping up any brown bits from the bottom of the pan.
  • Reduce the heat to low and stir in the heavy cream and Italian seasoning. Let it simmer for about 3-4 minutes until slightly thickened.
  • Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and combined.
  • Return the cooked chicken to the skillet, coating it with the creamy sauce. Let it simmer for another 2-3 minutes.
  • Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

Serve this creamy garlic chicken over pasta, rice, or with a side of crusty bread to soak up the delicious sauce. Feel free to add vegetables such as spinach or mushrooms for added flavor and nutrition.
