Ingredients
  

  • 4 pieces bone-in pork chops about 1 inch thick
  • 1 packet ranch seasoning mix 1 ounce
  • ½ cup unsalted butter 1 stick
  • ½ cup pepperoncini peppers includes liquid
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • to taste salt optional

Instructions
 

  • Season the pork chops with salt (if desired) and black pepper on both sides.
  • Place the pork chops in the bottom of the Crock-Pot.
  • Sprinkle the ranch seasoning mix evenly over the pork chops.
  • Pour the pepperoncini peppers and their liquid over the pork chops, ensuring they are well coated.
  • Cut the stick of butter into slices and distribute it over the chops.
  • Cover the Crock-Pot and set it to cook on low for 6 hours.
  • After 6 hours, check the pork chops for tenderness. They should be fork-tender and easily shredded.
  • Serve the pork chops with the juices and peppers from the Crock-Pot over rice, potatoes, or bread.

Notes

You can adjust the heat by adding more or fewer pepperoncini peppers.
Serve with a side of vegetables for a complete meal.
