1 baking sheet
1 parchment paper
1 mixing bowl
1 kitchen towel
1 oven
- 12 rolls frozen Rhodes dinner rolls
- ¼ cup unsalted butter Melted.
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder Optional.
- 1 teaspoon dried parsley Optional.
- ½ teaspoon salt
Take the frozen Rhodes dinner rolls out of the freezer and arrange them on a parchment paper-lined baking sheet. Space them evenly to allow for rising.
Cover the rolls with a clean kitchen towel and let them rise at room temperature for about 4-6 hours, or until they have doubled in size.
About 20 minutes before the rolls are finished rising, preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a mixing bowl, combine the melted butter, garlic powder (if using), dried parsley (if using), and salt. Mix well.
Once the rolls have risen, brush the butter mixture generously over the tops of each roll.
Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the tops are golden brown and the rolls sound hollow when tapped.
Remove the rolls from the oven and brush with any remaining melted butter, if desired. Serve warm.
You can prepare the rolls in the evening and let them rise overnight in the refrigerator. Just make sure to take them out in the morning to allow them to come to room temperature before baking.
Store any leftover rolls in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days, or freeze for longer storage. Reheat in the oven before serving for best results.
