Stir in the melted butter until well combined.
Add the vanilla extract, baking soda, and salt, mixing thoroughly.
Mix in the sugar, followed by the beaten egg, ensuring everything is well incorporated.
Gently fold in the all-purpose flour until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.
Finally, fold in the chocolate chips until evenly distributed in the batter.
Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan, smoothing the top with a spatula.
Bake in the preheated oven for about 60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Once done, remove from the oven and let the bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.
