EASY CHOCOLATE CHIP BANANA BREAD

Ingredients
  

  • 3 medium ripe bananas About 1 ½ cups mashed.
  • cup melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • a pinch salt
  • ¾ cup sugar
  • 1 large egg Beaten.
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup chocolate chips

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease your loaf pan or line it with parchment paper for easy removal.
  • In a mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas with a fork until smooth. You'll need about 1 ½ cups of mashed bananas.
  • Stir in the melted butter until well combined.
  • Add the vanilla extract, baking soda, and salt, mixing thoroughly.
  • Mix in the sugar, followed by the beaten egg, ensuring everything is well incorporated.
  • Gently fold in the all-purpose flour until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.
  • Finally, fold in the chocolate chips until evenly distributed in the batter.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan, smoothing the top with a spatula.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for about 60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  • Once done, remove from the oven and let the bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

For an extra kick, you may add chopped nuts or a sprinkle of cinnamon.
Ensure bananas are very ripe for the best sweetness and moisture.
Store any leftovers wrapped in plastic wrap or aluminum foil at room temperature for up to 3 days, or slice and freeze for longer storage.
