In a large mixing bowl, combine the warm water, sugar, and instant yeast. Let it sit for about 5 minutes, until frothy.
Add the melted butter and salt into the yeast mixture. Stir to combine.
Gradually add in the flour, one cup at a time, mixing with a wooden spoon or spatula until a soft dough forms. You may need additional flour for dusting.
Turn the dough onto a lightly floured surface and knead for about 2-3 minutes until smooth and elastic.
Divide the dough into 12 equal pieces and shape each piece into a ball.
Place the dough balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, spacing them close together. Cover with a clean kitchen towel and let rise in a warm spot for about 10 minutes.
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
After the dough has risen, bake the rolls in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until they are golden brown on top.
Once done, remove from the oven and brush the tops with additional melted butter for extra flavor.
Allow to cool slightly before serving.
