Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 8 small corn or flour tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded cabbage
  • ½ cup diced tomatoes
  • ¼ cup chopped fresh cilantro
  • 1 medium avocado, diced
  • 1 lime cut into wedges

Instructions
 

  • In a mixing bowl, combine chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, paprika, and salt. Add the shrimp and toss to coat evenly with the spice mixture.
  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the seasoned shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side or until they turn pink and opaque. Remove from heat.
  • While the shrimp are cooking, warm the tortillas in a separate skillet over medium heat for about 30 seconds on each side, or until they are pliable.
  • To assemble the tacos, place a portion of cooked shrimp on each tortilla. Top with shredded cabbage, diced tomatoes, chopped cilantro, and diced avocado.
  • Serve the tacos with lime wedges and hot sauce, if desired.

Notes

Feel free to customize the toppings based on your preferences; options like diced onions, jalapeños, or sour cream can be added.
Make sure the shrimp is cooked thoroughly before serving; they should be opaque throughout.
These tacos are best enjoyed immediately, but you can also refrigerate leftover shrimp for up to 2 days. Reheat before serving.
