Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound sea scallops
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • ½ teaspoon paprika

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the melted butter, minced garlic, chopped parsley, lemon juice, paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix well to create the garlic butter sauce.
  • Rinse the scallops and pat them dry with paper towels. Place the scallops in a single layer in a baking dish.
  • Pour the garlic butter sauce evenly over the scallops, ensuring they are well coated.
  • Bake the scallops in the preheated oven for about 12-15 minutes, or until they are opaque and firm to the touch.
  • Once cooked, remove from the oven and let them cool slightly. Serve warm, garnished with extra parsley and lemon wedges if desired.

Notes

Make sure the scallops are dry before applying the garlic butter sauce for the best texture.
You can substitute parsley with other herbs like basil or thyme for different flavor profiles.
