Ingredients
  

  • 4 cups broccoli florets
  • 4 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes optional

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the broccoli florets, olive oil, minced garlic, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes. Toss until the broccoli is evenly coated.
  • Spread the broccoli mixture in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
  • Roast in the preheated oven for 15 minutes.
  • After 15 minutes, remove the baking sheet from the oven and sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese over the broccoli.
  • Return the baking sheet to the oven and roast for an additional 5 minutes, or until the broccoli is tender and the cheese is golden and bubbly.
  • Remove from the oven and allow to cool slightly before serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, consider adding a splash of lemon juice or zest before serving.
