Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes Adjust to taste.
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • Juice of 1 lemon

Instructions
 

  • In a large skillet, melt the unsalted butter over medium heat.
  • Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.
  • Add the shrimp to the skillet and season with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes. Cook for 2-3 minutes on one side until they turn pink.
  • Flip the shrimp and cook for another 2-3 minutes until fully cooked through.
  • Remove the skillet from the heat and stir in the grated Parmesan cheese and lemon juice. Toss until the shrimp are well-coated.
  • Sprinkle with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

Serve this dish over pasta or with crusty bread to soak up the garlic butter sauce.
For a healthier option, serve the shrimp over steamed vegetables or a salad.
Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. Reheat gently on the stovetop.
