  • 1 measuring spoons
  • 1 saucepan if heating glaze
  • 1 brush for applying glaze

Ingredients

  • ¼ cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 2 teaspoons minced garlic

Instructions

  • In a small mixing bowl, combine honey, soy sauce, Dijon mustard, olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, grated ginger, black pepper, and salt. Whisk together until well mixed.
  • If you prefer a warm glaze, pour the mixture into a saucepan and heat over low heat for about 2-3 minutes until warmed, stirring occasionally. Do not boil.
  • Use a brush to apply the glaze generously on the salmon fillets before cooking. Reserve some glaze for brushing on while cooking and for serving.
  • Cook the salmon as desired (grilling, baking, or pan-searing), brushing with additional glaze halfway through cooking.
  • Remove from heat and drizzle with any reserved glaze before serving.
  • For added flavor, consider garnishing the dish with fresh herbs, such as parsley or cilantro, before serving.

You can adjust the sweetness or tanginess of the glaze by altering the amounts of honey and lemon juice.
