Ingredients
  

  • 4 fillets salmon, about 6 ounces each
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 lemons juice of
  • 1 lemon zest of
  • to taste salt
  • to taste black pepper
  • for garnish fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and lightly grease a baking dish.
  • Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels and season both sides with salt and black pepper.
  • Place the salmon fillets in the prepared baking dish, skin-side down.
  • In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt the unsalted butter.
  • Once the butter is melted, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  • Stir in the lemon juice and lemon zest, mixing well to combine. Remove from heat.
  • Pour the lemon garlic butter mixture evenly over the salmon fillets.
  • Bake the salmon in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.
  • Remove from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes.
  • Serve the salmon garnished with chopped parsley and enjoy!

Notes

For extra flavor, consider adding a sprinkle of red pepper flakes to the butter mixture.
