Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 8 slices bacon, cooked and chopped
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika

  • 1 cup diced pickles optional, for topping
  • ½ cup diced tomatoes optional, for topping
  • ¼ cup chopped green onions optional, for topping

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned and fully cooked, about 5-7 minutes. Drain excess fat.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the cooked beef with the chopped bacon. Stir in the garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
  • In another mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs and heavy cream until well combined.
  • Add the meat and bacon mixture to the egg and cream mixture. Mix until everything is incorporated.
  • Fold in the shredded cheddar and mozzarella cheeses.
  • Pour the mixture into a greased casserole dish and spread it evenly.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes or until the top is golden and the casserole is set.
  • Remove from oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
  • Optionally, top with diced pickles, tomatoes, and chopped green onions before serving.

Notes

Feel free to add other toppings like avocado or a dollop of sour cream for extra flavor.
You can also substitute the ground beef with ground turkey or chicken for a leaner option.
This casserole can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator for a quick meal during the week.
