Equipment

  • 1 large skillet
  • 1 spatula
  • 1 measuring cups and spoons
  • 1 mixing bowl
  • 1 tortilla warmer or aluminum foil optional

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 cup nacho cheese sauce
  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1 medium tomato, diced
  • ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • ¼ cup sour cream
  • 1 teaspoon taco seasoning
  • as needed tablespoon cooking oil for sautéing

Instructions

  • In a large skillet, heat a small amount of cooking oil over medium heat. Add the ground beef, breaking it apart with a spatula. Cook for about 5 minutes until browned.
  • Drain any excess fat from the beef, then add the taco seasoning to the skillet, stirring to combine. Cook for another 2-3 minutes until the beef is fully cooked and seasoned.
  • Reduce the heat to low and pour in the nacho cheese sauce. Stir until the beef is fully coated and the cheese is warmed through.
  • Warm the flour tortillas in a tortilla warmer or wrap them in aluminum foil and place them in a preheated oven for about 5 minutes.
  • To assemble the wraps, place a generous portion of the cheesy beef mixture in the center of each tortilla. Top with shredded lettuce, diced tomato, and shredded cheddar cheese.
  • Drizzle with sour cream and then fold the sides of the tortilla over the filling. Roll each tortilla tightly to enclose the filling.
  • Serve immediately, optionally with additional nacho cheese sauce or your favorite toppings.

Notes

Feel free to customize the wraps by adding other ingredients such as jalapeños, guacamole, or black olives.
For a healthier option, consider using lean ground turkey instead of beef.
These wraps are great for meal prep; you can prepare the filling ahead of time and assemble them just before serving.
