Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground sausage

  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or spray it lightly with cooking spray.
  • In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground sausage until browned and fully cooked, about 5-7 minutes. Drain excess fat if necessary.
  • Remove the skillet from heat and stir in the cheddar cheese, Dijon mustard (if using), garlic powder, and onion powder until well combined. Allow mixture to cool slightly.
  • Open the crescent roll dough and unroll it onto a clean surface. Separate the dough into individual triangles.

  • Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the crescent rolls are golden brown and flaky.
  • Remove from the oven and allow to cool slightly before serving.

Notes

You can customize the filling by adding ingredients like diced jalapeños or cream cheese for extra flavor.
These can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator for a day before baking. Just allow for extra baking time if they are cold.
Serve with your favorite dipping sauces like ranch, hot sauce, or barbecue sauce for added flavor.
