Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound medium shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 8 small corn or flour tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded cabbage or coleslaw mix
  • 1 ripe avocado, sliced
  • ½ cup fresh cilantro, chopped
  • to taste lime wedges for serving

Instructions
 

  • In a bowl, combine the chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Toss the shrimp in the spice mixture until they are evenly coated.
  • Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the seasoned shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until they are pink and opaque. Remove from heat.
  • While the shrimp cooks, warm the tortillas in a separate pan or in the microwave.
  • Assemble the tacos by placing a few shrimp on each tortilla. Top with shredded cabbage, avocado slices, and chopped cilantro.
  • Serve with lime wedges on the side for squeezing over the tacos.

Notes

For added heat, you can include sliced jalapeños or a spicy salsa as a topping.
Feel free to customize the toppings according to your preference, such as diced tomatoes or sour cream.
You can also use grilled or sautéed vegetables as a filling for a vegetarian option.
